Handling of soft tissues in the case of vertical augmentation
Vertical bone loss in the lateral region of the jaw, due to anatomical factors and technical difficulties, is a great challenge in implantology. For this reason, it is necessary to use special surgical techniques to produce and mobilize tissue patches necessary to cover the augmentation site.
Proper handling of soft tissues is the key to success in this type of regenerative surgery.
Participants will perform practical vertical exercises
augmentation in the anterior segment of the jaw and lateral segment of the mandible on animal models.
